With the shooting season just around the corner, Fortiscorde Gundogs has put together some training sessions to help prepare you and your dog for the season ahead. Join us for dedicated Spaniel and Retriever workshops as well as Cold Game and Steady to Shot sessions.

Cold Game, Sunday 7th, (10-12pm)   (Stourport on Severn)  £35 per dog
Ideal for advanced handlers preparing their dogs for game retrieval ahead of the season, as well as novice handlers eager to introduce their dogs to picking game for the very first time.

Spaniel Day, Sunday 14th, (10-2:30pm)  (Studley, Warwickshire)  £60 per dog
Give your gundog the ultimate training experience in a prime shooting environment. Build steadiness, sharpen hunting instincts, and tackle realistic shoot-day scenarios that prepare you both for the season ahead. Whether you’re starting out or refining advanced skills, this is the perfect opportunity for every level of dog and handler

Steady to Shot, Sunday 21st, (10-12pm)   (Stourport on Severn)  £35 per dog
Build your dog’s confidence and focus in a safe, controlled setting. We’ll practice steadiness around gunfire while developing marking skills and forward focus—key foundations for a successful season. Using starter pistols and dummy launchers, dogs of all levels, from novice to advanced, will gain valuable exposure to simulated shots and real shoot-day scenarios

Labrador & Retrievers, Sunday 28th, (10-2:30pm)  (Studley, Warwickshire)  £60 per dog
This dedicated training day for Labradors and retriever breeds is all about building confidence and refining natural ability. With a focus on water work, marking, and long retrieves, your dog will be challenged in realistic shoot-day scenarios designed to strengthen steadiness and precision. Set on prime shooting ground, it’s the perfect opportunity to test their skills, develop control, and prepare them for the season ahead.
